Commissioned to write some music
I have been commissioned to write three songs for a local project called Ebb and Flow and will be showcasing them at Snape Maltings on July 19th. This really is an amazing opportunity and a good start for me trying to make a living from music. If anybody else would like to commission anything, drop me a line!
This week on the BBC...
I recorded an interview and 5 new tracks at BBC Radio Suffolk on Friday (in a very 'live' way, ie one take and you're done). 4 of the tracks will be aired Monday to Thursday between 6pm and 7pm along with the interview which will go out this Wednesday. So tune into 103.9 FM or www.bbc.co.uk/suffolk!
Exciting gigs in Essex!
There are some really exciting ones coming up! First of all this Friday, 9th May, at The Institute in Kelvedon. I will be playing a 45 minute set. On May 23rd, I will be supporting Songs from the Blue House at High Barn, one of my favourite venues ever, again I'll be playing for 45 minutes. Listen out for promotion on BBC Essex Introducing and check out the gigs. Hope to see you there!
